Undergraduate research assistant
Adiba is an undergraduate at Columbia College from Dubai, U.A.E. majoring in Math and Computer Science. She joined the Billinge Group as a research assistant in May 2020. She has experience with proof-based analysis and algebra; introductory statistics; and data structures in Java and Python, and has previously done research in enumerative discrete geometry on the optimal partitioning of n-dimensional spheres by hyperplanes. She is interested in the application of distance geometry to the nanostructure problem.
